A scraper was set up to index the FOI Disclosure Logs of Aberdeen City Council and East Lothian Council.

This then wrote the contents to a database which was made searchable.

While the demo site has now been taken down, the code is now available on Github.

The next stage of this project was to have been the OCRing of the PDFs to which the disclosure logs pointed - and it would be good to see this implemented at a future event.
