PR Description

  • Check if the network is Ephemery and due for an update then reset the db.

Fixed Issue(s)

fixes #8589

Documentation

  • I thought about documentation and added the doc-change-required label to this PR if updates are required.

Changelog

  • I thought about adding a changelog entry, and added one if I deemed necessary.

I'm not sure that's really at the right point currently, because we're leaking that deposit check in multiple places, and theres public functions that can delete folders etc, so i think we really need to think about how it all fits together... this feels very confused...

Are you able to have a look at how we might do this neatly? otherwise we can find a little time to get some design thought out so its relatively clean...
