TronWeb aims to deliver a unified, seamless development experience influenced by Ethereum's Web3 implementation. We have taken the core ideas and expanded upon it to unlock the functionality of TRON's unique feature set along with offering new tools for integrating DApps in the browser, Node.js and IoT devices.

You can access either version specifically from the dist folder.
TronWeb is also compatible with frontend frameworks such as:
- Angular
- React
- Vue.
You can also ship TronWeb in a Chrome extension.

First, don't use the release section of this repo, it has not updated in a long time.
Then easiest way to use TronWeb in a browser is to install it as above and copy the dist file to your working folder. For example:
cp node_modules/tron-web/dist/TronWeb.js ./js/tronweb.js
so that you can call it in your HTML page as
<script src="./js/tronweb.js"><script>
To look at the examples, first clone this repo, install the dependencies and run the example:

You can also set up your own private network, but you need to solve cross-domain CORS. The following example in Node reads from a full node listening on 16667 and a solidity node listening on 16668, and exposes the ports 9090 and 9090 with the needed headers.

For testing TronWeb API functions, it would be best to setup a private network on your local machine using the TRON Docker Quickstart guide. The Docker guide sets up a Full Node, Solidity Node, and Event Server on your machine. You can then deploy smart contracts on your network and interact with them via TronWeb. If you wish to test TronWeb with other users, it would be best to deploy your contracts/DApps on the Shasta test network and interact from there.
