Are we confident about changing metrics meanings ? shouldn't we create new metrics for those instead ?

These are more realistic metrics versus the old ones. With the old metrics you had to get the value at exactly the right second otherwise it would just be zero. Calculating the metric in the agent will allow us to have more accurate rates and also matches the way we do it with other web servers (Apache, NginX, etc.)
