Summary

  • Bump Ubuntu bases to 20.04 following Ubuntu 18.04 deprecation.
  • Upgrade LLVM toolchain to v16. Ubuntu 18.04 was a blocker previously to move to higher toolchain.
  • Note: This also marks the end of support for pre-Ubuntu 20.04 / Debian 10 version of the CI based release builds.
    • Code can however be built manually for older versions, but support to be on a best effort basis.
