Installer on macos leaves ~/.nix-channels owned by root #287

After a clean installation from the curl command I attempted to add a channel (via nix-channel --add) and was denied due to permission. Seems like ~/.nix-channels gets it's ownership set to root as a part of the install process.

I'm assuming this is incorrect, and I was able to chown the directory and continue without issues. If that directory is supposed to be root owned let me know.
