An Editor and Librarian for the Meris Mercury7. Reverb inspired by the film Bladerunner.

1/26/2022 - Fixed bug in Sysex export

A full featured patch editor and librarian. It puts all of the sound creation controls on one page. It can also store a virtually unlimited number of presets. Requirements:

  • Meris Mercury7
  • Windows or Mac computer
  • An Interface to connect the Meris Mercury7 to a computer
    • MIDI connection to the Mercury7 (Like the Meris MIDI I/O box or equivalent). Must have MIDI IN and Out.
    • USB to midi adaptor, like the Roland UM-ONE
      OR
    • DisasterAreaDevices qCONNECT or a DisasterAreaDevices product that features a multi-jack that can send and receive midi, and a USB connection.

To get started click on the red 'connect' button, Make sure your Mercury7 is setup as as described in the Connect Dialog. Select the MIDI interface device you are using to connect your PC to your Mercury7, and select the MIDI Ch programmed on your Mercury7, and click connect. If you started the program prior to connecting the USB to MIDI adaptor, press scan. The program will remember to last connection you have made.

The librarian allows you to preview, sort and export patches. You can also drag a patch onto one of the 16 preset slots.

Access the Global Settings by clicking on Settings in the menu bar and selecting Globals.

Windows10

  • In the file list below click on Mercury7_Setup_Windows10.exe
  • After the download is complete run Mercury7_Setup_Windows10.exe, it will install shortcuts to the start menu and optionally the desktop.
  • To uninstall, go to Windows Settings, Apps, and find the app on the installed application list and select uninstall

MacOS Mojave

  • In the file list below click on Mercury7Edit.zip
  • After the download is complete, unzip the Mercury7Edit.zip to obtain the Mercury7Edit.app.
  • Drag Mercury7Edit.app to the Applications folder.
  • To uninstall, delete Mercury7Edit.app from the Applications folder.
