MMM-HTTPRequestDisplay

This an extension for the MagicMirror. It can translate XML responses from HTTP requests and display formatted information. Sensors such as Arduino's, ESP8266, Microcontrollers or small servers that maintain sensor data based as XML may find this useful.

This is version 1.0 and therefore not at a stage for widespread use.

Installation

  1. Navigate into your MagicMirror's modules folder and execute git clone https://github.com/Eunanibus/MMM-HTTPRequestDisplay. A new folder will appear.
  2. Add it to the modules array in the config/config.js (see next step below)

Using the module

To use this module, add it to the modules array in the config/config.js file:

modules: [
	{
		module: 'MMM-HTTPRequestDisplay',
		position: 'bottom_bar',	// This can be any of the regions. Best results in bottom_bar or top_bar (if clear of calender and weather modules) regions.
		header: 'MMM-HTTPRequestDisplay', // This is optional
		config: {
			// See 'Configuration options' for more information.
		}
	}
]
