Writing up a Fluidity example

Introduction

This page details the steps and what information is required to write-up a page describing a particular use or application of Fluidity. A current list of written up examples and applications can be also be used as guidance.

Content

The idea of the uses and application pages are to showcase features and the functionality of Fluidity. The pages should therefore contain the following content:

  • Images
  • Movies (where applicable)
  • A brief description of the science
  • References (when used - minimise these though) and, very importantly,
  • Publications the group has in this area

Once you've written or edited a page, please get someone else to read it through for typos, spelling errors, and to comment on general readability.

Categories

All fluidity examples should be in the Fluidity category. If you wish, you can add more categories, such as CFD, ICOM, etc where required.

How to

The following is a list of useful reminders of Wiki syntax for various tasks

  • Add movies
  • Add images
  • Add a page to a category

When adding a video to YouTube, please "tag it" as "Fluidity AMCG", plus any other appropriate tags. This will give all the other Fluidity videos in the "see also" section.
