My Christmas Reward Calendar is a simple React single-page web application featuring an advent calendar that allows users to collect Christmas symbols and win gift cards. It's inspired by the "Scan Fu" 🧧 campaign from Alipay for Chinese New Year. It combines the joy of Christmas with the tradition of Chinese New Year, a blend of two major cultural holidays, celebrating holiday cheer and excitement.

Users are able to open daily calender to collect random generated Christmas symbols from a set of 5 unique icons. (For demonstration purposes, users can open all calendar days at once). Every collection of symbols is able to win a gift card.
- Clone the repository or download the source code.
- Navigate to the project directory:
- cd mini_hackathon
- Install the required dependencies: (ensure you have Node.js installed on your system)
- npm install
- Start the application:
- npm start
