Should I mark the discusion closed?Only when the content in it are irrelevant. But mostly, the answer is keep it open. Unlike Issues, which are closed when things are resolved, open discussions mean - relevant disucssison. If you went through a process, and eventually fixed it, the discussion is still relevant. When will it be irrelevant? Your issue isn't relevant in the newest version of the script. Or you encountered a bug, after that bug is fixed, the issue is no longer relevant. |

@Jip-Hop has created a great tool, and has taken openthemselves to share it with the world.
I, personally, am thankful for this contribution as it exposes a much needed solution to a very common request, making TrueNAS SCALE much more friendly to me.
This project is geting noticed, especially since it's mentioned in the official documentation, and that is a great thing, but it also means many more people with different backgroud are flocking here and trying this out, but like me when I started with

, not fully understanding everyhting - and for some, not fully aware of how the community works.So if you're stuck, this community is here to help - everybody here has self appointed themselves voluntarily, to take part in it, and anybody participating here wishes the other person seeking help to acutally succeed. You are more than welcome to start helping others as well.
This thread is for other community members to add to with tips and tricks on how to troubleshoot and collect information, so that solving issues might be easier to newcomers as well as helping out anyone who needs help.
