Especially after a new patch to KSP, compatible mods trickle in as modders update themselves. It'd be nice to have some way of pointing out what has been added since the last refresh. Even if it is just a printout in the updating repository tab during the update, it'd make it easy to sort through the long list if you knew what you were looking for.
The Newly compatible filter does this as of #2494. I'd argue that's better than row coloring since you don't have to scroll through hundreds of rows looking for this info.
