I'm Konstantinos, a researcher at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and researcher/lecturer at the IMT/NTNU. With a background in Physics, Meteorology, and Oceanography, I am deeply involved in exploring and understanding the dynamics of ocean waves π.
My research spans various aspects of wave and ocean dynamics, with a focus on:
- π Metocean Statistics
- π¬οΈ Modelling of wind-generated waves
- ποΈ Fjord wave modelling and observations
- π Wave-current interaction
- βοΈ Hydrodynamics
- π Offshore wind energy
- π Wave Energy
- ποΈ Coastal engineering
I am passionate about improving our understanding of coastal and oceanic processes, particularly in the context of renewable energy. β»οΈ
Here are some of the projects I've worked on:
- DNORA: Open-source software for high-resolution coastal wave simulations.
- metocean-stats: Open-source software for metocean statistics.
- metocean-api: Open-source software for extracting metocean data.
Feel free to explore my repositories to learn more about my work or get in touch if you have any questions or collaboration ideas! π¬
