This fixes #177. I used a very specific conditional for the cairo version check as I hope this issue will be fixed in the next cairo release.

The change in the date format isn't considered a bug in cairo and will most likely stay. You will want to consider to change the version check accordingly.

Thanks. Please note that you probably should also change my comment. cairo uses PDF version 1.5 where the trailing apostrophe is actually required as indicated upstream: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/cairo/cairo/-/issues/450#note_743626

The current comment was based on my incomplete understanding.
