This repository serves as a personal archive of Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) logos and other memorabilia which have become difficult, if not impossible, to find since the SPSU-KSU merger.
Each logo style is available in svg, eps and png formats. Click the link in
the table heading to be taken to the appropriate directory. The png images are
sized for use in this README, please use either the svg or eps formats to
maintain resolution in an actual application.

SPSU Sans was derived from a typeface defined in 1931 by the German standards body DIN in the standard sheet DIN 1451-Schriften (typefaces). The font was specifically designed for legibility and intended for use on technical drawings and documentation.
According to the SPSU style guide:
It was selected for its clean, angular lines, uniform proportions and “engineering” like qualities.
Like the original DIN spec, SPSU Sans was available in both regular and condensed versions for use when space was limited, for example notes on a drawing. It was also available in a wide selection of weights.
This is the background used on the website in 2013, and the one I remember most fondly.
