LightningFastRom

Getting started

To get started with Android/LightningFastRom, you'll need to get familiar with Repo and Version Control with Git.

To initialize your local repository using the LightningFastRom trees, use a command like this:

repo init --depth 1 -u https://github.com/LightningFastRom/android.git -b lineage-17.1 --git-lfs

Then to sync up:

repo sync -c -d --force-sync -j$(nproc --all)

Submitting your ideas or cool application for review

Rules adding for new feature to exciting repo

  1. Build rom for your device.
  2. Explore rom and see what can be improvised or what missing.
  3. Look at your #1 favorite rom.
  4. See if your #1 favorite rom has something useful you witch my rom had or make something cool & useful that solve a common problem.
  5. Fork the repo related to your new or improved ideas.
  6. Implement your new or improved ideas in the repo you just fork and test on your device till your happy with how it operates.
  7. Make test build for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 & post on here Click Here with explanation on what it does or what improve upon along with screenshot for review & if I like & find useful I’ll add you to the ORG as sole maintainer of the idea.

Rules for your cool & useful application

  1. Build rom for your device.
  2. Explore rom and see mess with the default’s apps
  3. Look at your apps and think is it more useful then the stock application it replaces or is it useful on its own
  4. Convert your app from android studio to work with LightingFastRom instead.
  5. Make test build for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 only if application requires root if not build as APK file and post on here Click Here with explanation on what it does or what improvise upon along with screenshot for review an if I like & find useful I’ll add you to the ORG as sole maintainer of the app.

Making suggesting

  1. Explain way your suggestion useful & what it solve.
  2. Post examples of your suggestion here Click Here with photo for me to review or a link to where you got it from.

Patches are always welcome! Please submit your patches via LineageOS Gerrit for baulk of OS or through here Click Here for review!
