Shift Menus
Certain buttons can trigger menus when pressed.
- Loop Button: Main shift menu
- Record Button: Recording options
- Stop Button (requires long press): Debug options
When the shift button is pressed, some drum pads light up. Pressing these buttons perform common actions in FL Studio, including switching between windows. See Figure 1.

Top left [light blue]: Undo/redo (equivalent to pressing Ctrl+Alt+Z and Ctrl+Z on a computer keyboard)

Top right [Purple]: Previous/next window (equivalent to pressing Shift+Tab / Tab on a computer keyboard)

Top centre [Green]: Save project

Bottom right [Dark blue]: Open plugin picker

Green: Switch to Playlist

Red: Switch to Channel rack

Pink: Switch to Piano roll

Light blue: Switch to Mixer

Orange: Switch to Browser
The fader buttons can be used to set the snapping mode.

Enable/Disable (if snapping is enabled, the LED on this button will be lit)
The pitch-bend wheel acts as a jog-wheel. Moving the pitch-bend wheel down navigates down/right. Moving it up navigates up/left.
This menu gives access to various recording options. The layout imitates that of FL Studio's recording options on the toolbar (in the default layout).
Top Row

Metronome.

Overdub (blend) recording.

Bottom Row
- Step recording.
Where possible, the light will pulse if the mode is active. If more options are added to the API for these, I will update the script accordingly.
This menu is only activated if the stop button is long pressed.

Enter debug mode.
