Keeping Up
The error message:
Shows up when the sled's position exceeds a target distance away from where it should be. There are a number of reasons this can happen and solutions for when it does.
You can clear the warning by pressing the Stop button.
It's possible that the motors simply can't keep up with how fast the program is telling the machine to go. Using a lighter sled or cutting slower can fix this issue. Some have reported that a more powerful power supply can help also.
If a motor comes unplugged, if something is jammed and one motor is unable to turn, or if the power supply comes unplugged this warning will show up. This is a good thing because it can protect your machine from damage.
The best place to start diagnosing what is going on is to check all the cables, power status LEDs, and chains for any issues and then run the Actions -> Test Motors/Encoders function
If you want to turn this warning system off that can be done by entering a very large number for how much positional error is needed to trigger the warning. Keep in mind when turning of the warning that it can be a useful indicator that something is wrong.
