Tesla-API is an unofficial project providing an API wrapper for Tesla®'s products and services.
This project is focusing primarily on the Tesla® Gateway, the gateway for Tesla®'s Powerwall battery storage used to store solar panel and grid energy to be directly consumed by the home.
|
This project currently predominantly consumes the same local API that the local Gateway web administration portal consumes and Tesla® may choose to change it in subsequent updates without warning. |
There is no official route for production applications to use the Tesla® data other than the Tesla® App and the Tesla® web brower interface.
The documentation for the wrapper and the API itself is at Documentation/README.adoc

Tesla-API is led by Matthew1471 and may have received contributions from other individuals in GitHub’s awesome community. The project was initiated in 2023 by Matthew1471 after having his own Powerwall® installation and wanting to know when the batteries are 100% charged.
