##Setup Instructions ####1. Flask Setup:

Make sure you have pip installed.
-
Install virtualenv
sudo pip install virtualenv
- Activate the
venv
virtual environment.
virtualenv venv
source venv/bin/activate
- Install Flask
pip install flask
- Install NLTK
pip install nltk
####2. To start the app locally:
python app.py --print
This should start the application on localhost:5000
.
####3. To close out of the app and deactivate your virtual environment:
Close out of the application by typing CTRL-C
To deactivate your virtual environment:
deactivate
####3. Lemmatize the emoji JSON file:
This will create a lemmatized version of the emoji.json
file called emojis_lemmatized.json
. This lemmatized file is what the application uses.
python lemmatize_json.py
