Number Conversion Calculator

This is a simple calculator that allows you to convert a number from one base to another base. You can convert any base number to your desired base.

Usage

To use the calculator, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the number you want to convert.
  2. Enter the base of the number you entered in the previous step.
  3. Enter the base you want to convert the number to.
  4. Click on the "Convert" button.
  5. The converted number will be displayed below the button.

Example

Let's say you want to convert the binary number 1010 to its decimal equivalent. Here's how you can use this calculator:

  1. Enter 1010 in the "Number" input field.
  2. Enter 2 in the "Base" input field.
  3. Enter 10 in the "Convert to Base" input field.
  4. Click on the "Convert" button.

The result should be 10, which is the decimal equivalent of the binary number 1010.

How It Works

  1. The calculator takes the number and base entered by the user.
  2. It validates if the number is valid for the given base. If not, it shows an error message.
  3. If the number is valid, it converts the number to decimal first.
  4. Then, it converts the decimal number to the desired base.
  5. The converted number is displayed to the user.
