Make the swoosh look better on longer words

This change places it in the middle of the word, rather than at the start. A better change would be to have it fill the length of the word, but this is a quick improvement.

I'm unsure where to place the locale, as some responses (e.g. pages) need to be aware, and others (e.g. redirects) don't. I've chosen to try out making specific properties locale-aware. Note this is not used.
