The python 3.6 CI has been broken since December, as 3.6 has reached end of life. This means ubuntu-20.04 has to be specified.
I've also updated the checkout and python setup versions, and included pythons up to 3.11. I've put them all in quotes, as 3.10 is read as 3.1 without them.
I can confirm macOS13/python3.11 works locally too.
