I think v7 is an entirely different thing - https://github.com/vuejs/devtools-next vs https://github.com/vuejs/devtools.

I mean if it still works then cool haha.

Otherwise yeah we can probably bump up to latest v6 - idk if i'm gonna get around to dedicated testing at this point 😓 but down to let it roll on v6@latest.

it seems like the plugin api is using the same client sdk so hopefully it's entirely compatible? haven't tried the new devtools yet tho.
