Installation Guide
This guide will help you install Questie for World of Warcraft Classic versions, including The Burning Crusade (TBC), Vanilla Era, and Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK).
Download the latest version of Questie from the official GitHub releases page. Click on the latest release link to get the .zip file.
Once you've downloaded the .zip file, you'll need to extract it.

Windows: Right-click the
.zipfile and choose Extract All..., or use a tool like 7-Zip to extract it. -
macOS: Simply double-click the
.zipfile to extract it.
Now that you've extracted the Questie folder, you'll need to place it in your WoW Classic AddOns directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns -
macOS:
/Applications/World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns
- Open the Battle.net Launcher.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, or Burning Crusade Classic.
- Click on Options and select Show in Explorer (Windows) or Reveal in Finder (macOS).
- Navigate to the
_classic_folder.
- Copy the extracted Questie folder into the AddOns directory.
Ensure that the path is exactly as follows:
✅ World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\Addons\Questie\Questie.toc
Avoid having an extra folder level like this:
❌ World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\Addons\Questie\Questie\Questie.toc
❌ World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\Addons\Questie-b3\Questie.toc
If you are logged into World of Warcraft, you must completely restart the game to load the new add-on.
Launch World of Warcraft Classic, and at the character selection screen, click on the AddOns button in the lower-left corner. Ensure Questie is listed and enabled.
