The solution removes the black bars in anything other than 16:9 without reducing the field of view.
- Download the archive below.
- Unpack it to \Smurf_Dreams[Platform]\Binaries\Win64\ inside the game folder.
To uninstall the fixes, simply remove or move the files.
Note that some menu and loading screen backgrounds do not have enough width for ultrawide, which will be exposed.
Tested on Steam and GOG with zeomax's help at 1280x800, 2560x1080, 3440x1440, and 3840x1080.
