A Simple extraction

Hello,
I am trying to find out what's the simple way to extract just one executable file from a zip:

filename.zip > filename.exe

That's very simple. I couldn't extract it using 3 different:
getChild-Item, get a file (one can use Rename-Items and other cmd line from powershell)
extract_to: extract files or a directory to $dir (If i understand the documentary correctly)
extract_dir: extract files inside a directory via ZIP to $dir

if you know a similar situation with another software. I could use the reference to know how. I appreciate any helps, so thanks in advance.

Expand-7zipArchive -Path "$dir\$fname" -DestinationPath "$dir" -Removal

I tested it in powershell using this
Expand-Archive -Path "C:\path\to\filename.zip" -Destination "C:\path\to\directory"
it works fine. I did not use "Expand-7zipArchieve" blc it don't work in PS (i looked it up)

it wasn't working. Something to do with Hash check failed.

your script works. My script is very similar to your script but there are a few errors with the way "architecture" are structured to extract the file from a ZIP.

Since the ?=, you need to add suffix #/dl.7z to make scoop get the file name.
