June 2021
This release includes the following changes:
- Fixes setting Seagate power balance on newer SAS products
- Adds showing concurrent positioning ranges (info) and detecting the number of ranges for drive info (-i on all tools) for upcoming Seagate products
- Remove legacy drive workaround to ignore final status on a firmware update. This was only needed for some very old products. This behavior is preserved with the flag --fwdlIgnoreFinalSegment in case this is ever needed.
- fix polling for progress on depop and repop operations for SATA drives
- Fixed a bug in reading a text file to change SCSI mode pages which prevented the option to use a file from working at all
- More USB compatibility improvements from testing more drives and building in their capabilities to the tool and figuring out what other fields can be used to help with automatic detection for those not already explicitly defined in the tool.
- Analyzed Seagate SATA HDD SMART attribute output
