I suggest this patch: https://gist.github.com/Taloth/e28e242ef1345d1e67f691d02fc9d88d
It adds the nuget reference to the appropriate project. It also does all the 'workaround' logic in the UnsafeNativeMethods.cs file.
It does compile, but I don't know if it runs properly on all platforms.
