This is an addendum to RFC 1 (#56), which covers the major widget restructuring as implemented in #68 and #69.
The point of this RFC is firstly for documentation purposes, so others who want to contribute to Kayak know what worked from RFC 1 and what didn't— what changed and why.
The second part of the RFC is actually an RFC. I want to propose a different approach to widget contexts as discussed in RFC 1. This is a chance to talk about that and see what we prefer.
