asciimath

asciimath is a simple command-line tool for displaying math equations as ascii art.

Installation

$ ./autogen.sh
$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install

Usage

$ asciimath 1/{1+1/{1+1/{1+X}}}
       1
 -------------
         1
 1 + ---------
           1
     1 + -----
         1 + X
$ asciimath
> a^b^c+4/(1+x/{1-x})^{x-y}
