MkDocs Installation

Windows (Cygwin)

# Download the pip installer
wget https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py
# Install pip
python get-pip.py
# Install mkdocs
pip install mkdocs

Linux (Debian)

# Install pip
sudo apt-get install python-pip
# Install mkdocs
pip install mkdocs

Build Instructions

You can then either build the site or run a local server.

# Build the site into static html files.
mkdocs build
# Or run a local server on 127.0.0.1:8000.
mkdocs serve
