Contributing to Misery

Misery is a community-driven, open-source project. We welcome contributions from everyone interested in improving this mod. Whether you're fixing bugs, improving the code, or reporting errors, every contribution helps!

Reporting Issues

  1. Verify the Issue: Ensure Misery is the cause by testing with only @CBA_A3 and @Misery on a new mission.
  2. Report the Issue: Go to the Misery GitHub issue tracker and create a new issue. Provide a detailed description and, if possible, a video of the issue.

Feature Requests

  1. Check Existing Requests: Before making a request, check the Misery Feature requests to avoid duplicates.
  2. Submit Your Request: Add your request to the common issue for feature requests. Moderators may move approved requests to separate issues for further discussion. Make sure to label it via "enhancement".

Contributing Code

  1. Discuss Changes: Before making changes, discuss them via issue or Discord with the Misery maintainers.
  2. Create a Pull Request: Make a pull request (PR) early using GitHub's draft feature. Describe what the PR does and how it solves the issue.
  3. Follow Guidelines: Adhere to our Development Guidelines.

Notes

All contributors are volunteers, so issues and PRs may take time to be reviewed. If you need attention on an issue or PR, please comment and mention @Collaborator in the community discord.
