Releases: Tiny-Foxes/Translation-Toolkit
Bug fix release
QoL release
- A small quality-of-life update: Whenever you're asked to input something, you can press escape to cancel the current command and go back to the main menu (only work as the first input, because of some tech limitation).
- On the code side, I've cleaned up some bits that needed it
Improved Lines Counter
Some minor updates to the Lines Counter:
- Improved results UI
- Stop counting NativeLanguagesName section as part of the number of lines to be translated, since those are meant to be left in their original language...everybody gained some percentage in their translation :D
Lines counter added
Added a new tool: The Lines Counter
It compares 2 files, and tells you how many files in the target file are different (and thus translated) than the reference file. It then prints the total number of lines to be translated, and the total number of lines already translated.
It is obviously limited because it can't know which lines are voluntarily left in English and/or translated but the words are the same. But still, it gives a rough measure of progress, and I think it will help translators to keep their motivation, by having a concrete measure of their progress :)
File synchronization is now possible :)
A proper release for the synchronization option. You can now sync your translation file with a reference file (usually the EN.ini).
- All lines in the reference file that are not in the target file will be added to the target file
- All lines in the target file that are not in the reference file will be removed
- Lines that are in both, but at different places, will be reordered to follow the reference file's order.
NOTE: YOU MUST run the duplicates checker on both files before running the Synchronization feature (or know that the file you have has already been run through the duplicates checker)
A pre-release of synchronization
Finally, the real feature of the TTK is in:
You can now compare a reference file (en.ini) with a target file (some other translation), and have the tool sync the target file with the reference file: you're getting all the new stuff from the reference file, and all the outdated lines are removed.
Note: this version is just a pre-release, to be able to show to others/have them try it out. I want more testing/debugging before calling it finished
A proper 0.1 release
