Description

There are currently 30+ open issues on this topic, which many of them have been an issue since 7.32. They all seem lost in the void and gotten no traction, so I've gathered them all here for an easy overview.

  • Enchantress: Little Friends - Current hotkey is L - Change it to E
  • Lina: Flame Cloak - Current hotkey is L - Change it to E
  • Lone Druid: Fetch - Current hotkey is , - Change it to F
  • Naga Siren: Reel In - Current hotkey is L - Change it F or W
  • Zeus: Lightning Hands - Has no hotkey - Change it to D or E

Looks like missing ones were fixed

But horrible ones like L keys are still same L keys

I've ticked off the fixed ones. The others still need to be changed, since they're not usable with the current hotkeys.

  • LD bear shard Keypad ,
  • Chen Aghs creeps - some creeps have R some alt R ?!

Every single new ability gets a dumb legacy key.

Please stop putting them on the right hand side of the keyboard. It's not hard. Put it near the left. Every time this gets raised a new ability comes in. Every single time.

Can you at least change the really stupid auto-assign to pick something within 4 of the left hand side of the keyobard. Nobody can use lina's aghs or veno shard in a fight if they're legacy. I end up having to uncheck legacy, re-assign the keys to legacy and then putting a sensible key. At least let me auto-assign the legacy keys to custom keys so I don't have to bugger about every time you release a new ability on a new hero.

for a long time i dont get why ppl still use legacy keys. I think legacy keys should be removed in the future.
why dont you guys just use unit-specific hotkeys and set it yourself? is there a difference?

for example on veno i like to enable quickcast on plague wards but not venomous gale.

on other heroes i dont really like quickcast so it's off. On some othe heroes i have different hotkeys so its easier to press the buttons.
