along with some minor fixes/corrections to the html.

changes include using the port specified by ENV, turning off custom https handling to let glitch/server env handle that.

whoops--I clicked the wrong button in the github interface, I was attempting to merge this into my own local branch. This is a work in progress. You can accept these or not, but I'm unable to delete this PR since I don't own the repo.

at this stage, these changes get the page running in a deployed server environment, but the video and audio streams still aren't playing, even though the console seems to say everything is fine and show me that the streams are received--though, as mentioned, the video tracks are muted and may have more issues.
