Hi,

How do we preserve sketch colors in TechDraw?

Rationale

While creating a laser cut output by using a unfold sketch of a bent sheet metal, it's important to set the bending lines to different colors, and also different colors for laser marking (if there is any) etc. These are set properly in 3D design but when I create the projection, they are not kept as is.

Reproduction

  1. Create a Sketch
  2. Change line colors to - i.e. - red.
  3. Create a TechDraw page
  4. "Insert multiple linked views of a drawable object"
  5. See all lines are in black.

(optionally)
6. Export to DXF
7. Open with LibreCAD
8. See the lines are in default colors.

Hi. This repo is no longer active. All TechDraw activity is no in the main FreeCAD forum, bug tracker and development stream.

TechDraw does not support colored lines at this time.
