Oceana

Oceana is an open source fully configurable whole-home audio broadcasting server currently under development by Maurice Davidson.

Roadmap

This is the planned list of features and will be updated as they become available.

  • Support multiple audio input sources
    • Standard audio file formats: MP3, WMA, AAC, MP4, etc.
    • Playlists.
    • Line in, Microphone and loopback capture.
  • Provide a library of configurable components to manipulate and channel audio
    • Multi-channel audio merging and splitting.
    • Audio ducking channel mixing.
    • Equalizers, Fade In/Out, etc.
  • A simple to use web based UX
    • Visual setup of inputs, outputs and filters.
    • Dashboard showing output of current system.
  • REST based API for integration with 3rd party tools
    • Full feature set available via API.
