Installation

To run the NewLife locally, follow these steps:

Clone the repository:

Frontend- git clone git@github.com:Wesley-waka/newLife.git Backend- git clone git@github.com:Wesley-waka/new_back.git

Navigate to the project directory:

cd frontend

cd comfy_sloth_backend

Install dependencies:

npm install

Set up the database:

npm run setup-db

Start the development server:

npm start

Visit http://localhost:3000 in your browser to access the FurnitureCommerce website.

Usage

User Account: Create an account to manage orders as a User, save favorite items, and track your purchase history.

Browsing Products: Navigate through the product categories or use the search bar to find specific furniture.

Adding to Cart: Click on a product to view details and add it to your shopping cart.

Checkout: Review items in your cart and proceed to checkout to enter shipping and payment information.
