Please don't mind the UI. these are just initial wireframes. The hamburger section will consist of options such as directory and other settings.

Option 1

Dedicating separate tabs for DMs, Channels, Game Center, and profile

Here, the game center will consist of all the games The user is actively playing.

option 2

The active games and discussions will be indented beneath the parent channel. The games will be limited to channels only. I was thinking of adding game rooms below DMs too, but separate Channels can be made for gaming which makes the concept of game rooms in this case redundant.

These are some of the initial wireframes I was working on and there's a lot to do on these. So all suggestions are welcome.
