Releases: ZZ-Cat/HeliProfiles
v1.0.0 - First public release
Overview
This is the first ever public release of my Heli Profiles.
What's new
- Add three profile templates:
- Ex1-DSMX-BX.
- Ex2-ELRS-B2.
- Ex3-OMP-OMP.
Each template has these features:
- Bank Switching.
- Subject to hardware availability - Some flight controller manufacturers hide this vital feature behind pay walls.
- Control Isolation.
- Saves your servos by turning off your sticks, when they are not needed.
- Pit Mode.
- In this mode, your helicopter's motor will never start up.
- You can use your sticks to operate your helicopter's collective, cyclic & tail controls independently of your motor.
- Perfect for working on your helicopter while it is on the bench.
- RPM Switching.
- Traditional
Normal
,Idle Up 1
&Idle Up 2
RPM settings, that you can adjust yourself.
- Traditional
- Two-Step Safety Arming.
- Prevents unintended/accidental start-ups.
How to use Two-Step Safety Arming
Arming
- Lift-&-hold switches SF & SH for three seconds.
- Release switch SH.
- When you hear your controller call out "Armed. Stick commands enabled." You are now armed & ready.
Pro Tip: To cancel the arming process, simply hold SF & SH up for 5 or more seconds, & then release switch SH.
Starting
To start your helicopter, simply flip your SF switch down. Your controller will call out "Throttle Active" & your helicopter's motor will start.
Shutdown
To shut your helicopter down, flip your SF switch up. Your controller will call out "Throttle Cut" & your helicopter's motor will stop.
Disarming
This is simply the same process as arming:
- Lift-&-hold switches SF & SH for three seconds.
- Release switch SH.
- When you hear your controller call out "Disarmed. Stick commands disabled." You are now disarmed & your helicopter is completely inert.
Pro Tip: To cancel the disarming process, simply hold SF & SH up for 5 or more seconds, & then release switch SH.
Installation

RadioMaster_TX16S.zip

for cloud storage & backup. - Open up EdgeTX Companion.
- Synchronise your SD Card contents.
- Look for the templates under Manage Models ► New Model ► Personal
