A docker container for hastebin server by Alejandro Baez.
A simple docker container for the hastebin server. Uses a customized version of the original hastebin server. Has both an updated version of highlight.js and uses Solarized Light for the theme.
If using from source, simply clone the repository and run by using the contained docker-compose.yml file.
git clone https://github.com/abaez/docker-hastebin.git docker-hastebin
cd docker-hastebin
docker-compose up
If using the docker container directly, then you can use the docker build.
docker run -p 7777:7777 abaez/hastebin
If you want to have the docker container running automagically on your machine, then this is the place to go.
All you need to do is first copy to your systemd service directory and do a quick daemon-reload.
sudo cp <docker-hastebin source>/docker-haste@.service /usr/lib/systemd/system
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
Finally, you can append to your systemd setup by giving the port you desire for the service to run under.
sudo systemctl enable docker-hastebin@7777
You don't need to declare the user, since it uses the default user of the running service. However, if you want to be specific, you can always change the user by replacing %u, on line 8 with your user, in the unit file.
Lastly, unless you want the snippets to be temporary, you need to change the change the volume location of '/app' to whatever you desire.
