The Point of Sale & Inventory Management System is designed to serve two roles: cashier and administrator.
- Cashier Role: Handles in-person sales including making new transactions, billing, adding discounts, generating receipts, managing daily sales, and handling account credentials.
- Administrator Role: Manages all cashier sales, products, product categories, product brands, user accounts, vendors, stock adjustments, and various reports (e.g., top selling, total sale, critical items, inventory report, cancelled order report, history of stock entry). The administrator can also manage store details. A dashboard provides an overview of store sales to the administrator.
- Frontend and Backend: C# Language under .NET Framework
- Database: SQL Server Database
- Provides reports in PDF, CSV, and Excel formats.
- Utilizes date filters.
- Uses data analytics charts for information representation, such as PIE charts.
- Includes individual modules for Users, Products, Brands, and more.

The software installation is straightforward, facilitated by an MSI installer file for Windows clients.
- Click the MSI Installer file to begin installation (Welcome screen pops up).
- Click on the 'Next' button.
- If the software is already installed, it will ask whether to 'Modify', 'Repair', or 'Remove'.
- If the software is not installed, it will proceed to the next screen.
- Specify the software installation location and click 'Next'.
- Click the 'Install' button to start the installation.
- Installation completed.
- After installation change the file permission for database file, to do this simply follow the tutorial.
The software is user-friendly, requiring simple mouse clicks and keyboard presses to operate.
