Chances are Tonk doesn't have the right permissions to start an MPA on that channel. Ensure Tonk has permission to Send and Manage Messages in permissions. (Tonk will also DM you this same solution when it can't start an MPA due to permissions).
If the DM does not appear, that means Tonk errored.
Chances are you don't have the permissions to start an MPA. Your Top Role needs to have the Manage Emojis permissions to utilize the MPA manager functions. Your top role is usually the role you can't directly edit. Please contact someone who has the power to edit your top role with the right permissions. Alternatively, you can put the Administrator permission on your top role and that will work too.
Note that the Manage Emojis permission does not appear on Mobile. This must be done on the PC or Web Client.
Type !help before you do anything. Chances are you will find everything in there.
The bot either crashed or restarted before the MPA was closed. I highly suggest closing the MPA with !removempa when the MPA finishes. Please do not leave MPAs hanging. It will cause problems.
