Austin LangChain Users Group

Welcome to Austin LangChain Users Group (AIMUG), where we're all about "learning in the open" right here in Austin, Texas. We're a community dedicated to the exploration and advancement of artificial intelligence, with a special focus on the open-source project LangChain. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just curious about AI, you're invited to join us as we learn, innovate, and grow together.

🚀 What We're All About

  1. Learning in the Open: We believe in the power of shared knowledge. Our community thrives on transparency, collaboration, and the free exchange of ideas. Whether it's code, concepts, or conversations, everything we do is out in the open for everyone to learn from and contribute to.

  2. AI & AGI: From neural networks to advanced AGI applications, we're at the cutting edge of AI. We're constantly exploring new ways to push the boundaries of what's possible.

  3. LangChain Focus: LangChain is our tool of choice. By focusing on this open-source project, we're diving deep into the world of Large Language Models (LLMs) and making significant strides in AI's future.

  4. Public Good: Our group is organized as a public good, with the mission of making AI knowledge and resources accessible to all. We're not just learning for ourselves; we're learning to benefit the broader community.

📂 Repository Structure

Our repository is organized into the following main directories:

  • labs/: Contains hands-on labs and tutorials for various LangChain concepts and applications. Each subdirectory (e.g., LangChain_101, LangChain_102, etc.) represents a different set of labs or a specific topic.

  • resources/: Holds various resources for our community:

    • art/: Logos and visual assets for our group.
    • meetings/: Meeting notes and documentation organized by year.
    • presentations/: Slides and materials from our presentations and workshops.
    • quick_start/: Quick start guides and introductory materials.
    • transcripts/: Transcripts from our community calls and events.
  • static/: Static assets for our website or documentation.

💡 Fun Note

"Picture a group of AI enthusiasts in Austin, guided by an AI, diving into the mysteries of intelligence while having a blast. We might not serve coffee to our AI, but we're always brewing fresh ideas 😉. So, come join us as we explore, hack, and share, all in the spirit of open learning!"
