I'm Alberto Tudela, a robotics researcher from Spain currently working in the Department of Electronic Technology (DTE) at the Universidad de Málaga.
My passion for robotics has led me to work across a wide range of the autonomy stack, with a particular focus on the creation of social navigation algorithms. These are carefully integrated into the cognitive architectures of social assistive robots. Additionally, I am actively involved in the development of perceptive agents that can accurately monitor and analyze the state of the world.
I'm also a ROS2 contributor, mainly in the Nav2 stack. You can find some of my contributions here.
In my free time, I develop open source software for smart environments using Home Assistant, aiming to create seamless and intelligent systems that enhance the interaction between humans and their surroundings.
