Hello There,

I noticed that there was no simple way to crop the result of SFM to focus the heavy part of the computation on desired area only. So i thought about using the abc output in an external tool for cropping it, and then sending it back to meshroom, but it seems the abc format is a bit strange (It makes blender crashes instantly when loading).
I searched a bit of knowledge on the workflow but didn't find anything. Does anyone found a workarround with this issue ?

Thanks, and yeah, a Blender integration in 2.8 would be really nice for a game asset pipeline as mine !

Is there any update on this?

Blender 2.8 works with Meshroom abc files. You can also change the inter-file extension to ply for this node.
There is also a Image Masking node (WIP) that may be available with the next release.

I think this will be possible with the Image-Masking tool (wip).
