Description

I added some info to the FAQ which I had to search for in issues or figure out myself. Plus a few other doc things.

I'll be happy to remove some of the commits if you don't want all of them!

  • Expand FAQ entry on how to scan.
  • Add FAQ entry for problem when the scanner doesn't trigger.
  • Update some formatting in FAQ.
  • Add link from README to FAQ.

Thanks for a great app!

Type of change

Just put an x in the [] which are valid.

  • Only documentation changes.
  • Translation Contribution (non-breaking change which only adds or updates the translation to a language)
  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to not work as expected)~~

How Has This Been Tested?

Not relevant; only documentation changes.

@allgood Thank you!

Here is a related suggestion: It might be a good idea to include the FAQ in the app. Have a button in settings which takes users direct to the document. Either by bundling the document as HTML with the app, or by having a link to GitHub.

@jensli

I appreciate the suggestion, unfortunately I had to abandon the project, I've stated on the telegram group but didn't changed it here yet.

If somebody forks it and develop over it, or if a better open source scan app appears, I will remove it or change to redirect.

Planing on removing from Google Play soon, since there is a lot of users there that doesn't care about open source and criticize the app giving low ratings.
