homeshick is a rather simple program that is easy to fork and add your own features to.
Development is done using KISS and
unix principles.
This means that features which may be useful for some will at times not be added to the codebase
since they would add too much code or move the role of homeshick beyond its defined scope.
In such cases some developers choose to maintain their own fork with these additional features.
This is a list of notable forks with that kind of features.
Repo | Features |
---|---|
bertfrees/homeshick | Support symlinked castles and extensible linking command |
Billiam/homeshick | Redact & unredact sensitive information in your castle |
dredhorse/HomeSweetHome | Install & update script support (+ redact & unredact) |
moonfall/homeshick |
push command and stats after pull

Please note that this list is in no way an endorsement of those projects, they have not been tested by homeshick maintainers.
