About

A replication of the popular Indian general knowledge TV game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (based on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?)

This web application is developed using node.js/express, trying to best replicate the traditional design to the web. This was developed as a college project. All the lifelines used and its logic is given below.

All the questions used in this application is manually added into MongoDb Atlas using /addquestion which is a form created to add the questions. No user data is required.

Lifeline Logic

• Audience Poll

  Less than 40,000 - Correct answer will have atleast 50% votes

  Less than 3,20,000 - Correct answer will have atleast 30% votes

  Above 3,20,000 - Correct answer will have atleast 10% votes

• 50-50

  Removes two wrong answers

• Flip the Question

  Replaces current question with a new question of the same slot

• Ask the Expert

  80% chance of telling the correct answer
